I'm really starting to love the toddler room. We're always playing with what the teachers call the sensory table. I get to touch all this funny feeling stuff like shaving cream and jello. The jello is super slimy; I love it! I even got my own official nap mat this week.
There are a few cliques (that means selective groups) in the toddler room. There are the older kids who are pushing 24-28 months and don't seem that interested in making new friends. There are the constant criers, which everyone tries to ignore. There are the artsy kids who are always at the coloring table taking all the markers. There are the puzzle freaks (it means they really like puzzles) and the book flippers. Right now, I've been hanging out with everyone learning how things work. I have a feeling the book flippers or artsy kids may try to recruit me. I'm an independent lady who doesn't like to be labeled so this is going to get interesting.
