Party hardy planner

I went to my first birthday party today for a school friend, Lindsay. It was AWESOME! We played with sparkle glue, markers and dollies. And we went jumping on the couch and swimming in Lindsay's pool and had pizza and ice cream cake. I was having such a great time I even happily put on a party hat while we sang happy birthday. (Mommy didn't take any photos, so you'll just have to believe me.) I can't wait for my birthday. It's coming up really, really soon. What type of party should I have? A ball pit party? A petting animals party? A trampoline party? Or maybe a riding seahorses party? Which one would you come to?

If I had a seahorse riding party, would you come?

Flying ball pits

I went to a birthday party yesterday and discovered the best toy in the whole world--a ball pit!!! I want one, I want one, I want one! Do you think I can get mommy and daddy to get one in our house? To make room, we can get rid of the couch or my crib. We don't need those. We NEED a ball pit.

Wheeeee. Throw me again, daddy.
It feels gushy and I love it!

Cool kid club

It's official. I'm a cool kid. I got my first birthday party invitation from a friend at school. It's a mermaid party at her house. I don't know what a mermaid is but I hear my friend has a pool and we're going to go swimming and there will be cake. Those are two of my favorite things. Count me in.

Cool kids sit on the back of the seesaw.

Got ID?

After our hot date on V-day, I saw David again today at his second birthday party. He let me play with his Yo Gabba Gabba toys, which I'm told is HUGE! He doesn't let anyone just play with them. :)  I really liked petting David's cat and dog. I only got licked once and I didn't even mind. There were a lot of people at the party so I helped out by being the bouncer. It was tough work! Some of the adults kept hopping over the gate instead of going through the door. Don't worry, I yelled at them so they wouldn't do it again.

No one gets in without ID.
We're full. Try back later.

11 down, 1 to go

Can you believe my first birthday is exactly a month away?! All my other friends at daycare are already one so they told me what to expect—parties, presents and cake. I've never had cake before. I hear it is delicious, even better than rice and beans! And parties, who doesn't love a party?! I wonder what type of presents I'll get. Maybe I'll get lots of new plastic containers. I love playing with plastic containers. First I take them out of the kitchen cabinet, then I put them back in, then I take them out again, and put them back in. It's so fun. I'm bouncing on my butt just thinking about it.

Party hopper

It's been a party hopping type of weekend. First I went to my friend Caleb's house for a barbecue party on Saturday. We had a lot of fun playing in his bedroom (don't worry, mommy was supervising) and out on his porch. When Caleb's daddy scared me, Caleb gave me a big hug to make me feel better. He's such a sweetie. Then today, we went to my friend Lulu's house for her birthday party. I had a blast riding around in Lulu's pink car. I started giving rides to a few people including this boy Declan. He was really into me. After I gave him a ride he climbed in and sat right on top of me. Later he open mouth kissed me, right in front of daddy. How embarrassing! In addition to the parties, this long holiday weekend we went to the aquarium and I had my first swim lesson, but I'll tell you more about that next week. It's way past my bedtime.

That will be $12. 50. Who needs a ride next?
Yum, beer. I'll just take the whole case to
the party. Never good to go empty handed.
Stop taking photos. I want to see the sea
lions and the penguins already.
