Weather prophet

I bought rain boots a few days ago and today it rained for the first time in a really long time. I wonder if I buy snow boots tomorrow if it will snow in a few days. That would be so much fun. I just better not get work boots. I don't want to have to go to work. Mommy and daddy make it sound really bad.

Have you seen any puddles?

Back to leather

We made it back to Boston very late Monday night. Next thing I know, it's morning and we're headed back to daycare. Everyone was so happy to see me. I hugged and kissed (closed mouth) everyone. Oh, and it finally warmed up, so I got to wear my leather jacket. The best assessory for a leather jacket? A zebra of course!

Material girl

Check out my new black leather skirt. I LOVE it. It was a birthday present from Jersey Fran. It made all my daycare girlfriends jealous. :) There are no boys at school that I'm interested in anymore. Instead, I'm really into Fran's grandson, David. We hung out last weekend and he hugged and kissed me many, many times. Daddy started to get a little mad. (He he.) Mommy thought it was funny and just took photos.

This skirt is my favorite!
Me and David. What a hunk!

Elvis spotting

I got a lot of compliments on my new (to me) jacket today. All the teachers were calling me miss fancy pants and giggling at me. Daddy said I looked like a baby Elvis. I don't know about that, but I played along and told him, thank you, thank you very much. (He he he)

Laundry lady

I love smashing food in my hair and rubbing it on my shirts. That means we end up doing a lot of laundry. I say we because I help out. I move items from my hamper to the floor, I lift the detergent bottle (which always gets grabbed from my hands right away) and then hang out and watch to make sure there are enough suds. The clothes always look like they are having so much fun flopping around in there. One time I tried to climb in, but mommy is a party pooper and made me get out.

I want to jump in and spin around too.

Fancy feet

Guess who got her first real pair of sneakers today? You'll never guess. Go ahead, guess. ME!!!

I'll take these...I'll take them all.

Bar Mitzvah bonanza

I survived my first Bar Mitzvah and it was a blast. Cousin Michael led the whole temple service, which was very impressive. I only had to leave the synagogue once … after I threw up on mommy’s dress. (Sorry mommy.) Then we went to the party. There was a man called a DJ that played all types of fun songs. I danced and danced and danced until my shoes fell off—literally! Then I took photos in the photo booth and got to shake a maraca. I also got to play with all my other cousins that were there. Cousins Sydney and Max were especially fun. I loved holding onto their fingers. More photos to come soon, but here’s a quick one of my party dress.

Who is ready for a Bar Mitzvah? Me!

On the road again

We're going on a trip today back to New Jersey (remember, that state next to New York). One of my cousins is having a Bar Mitzvah. Daddy tells me that is "when a boy becomes a man." I'm not sure what that means, but I'm excited for the music and dancing. I got a great new dress I can't wait to wear and SHOESmy first pair of shoes.

I'm all packed and ready to go.

Oy Vey

I’m getting my Hebrew name on Sunday. Mommy and I went out and about today gathering all the final things for the ceremony. I bought this great hot pink dress last month that I can’t wait to wear. However, I’ve been stress eating lately because I’m not sure if I’m going to like being the center of attention during the ceremony. And, now that the event is just two days away, I’m panicked the dress won’t fit. I got myself so worked up today that I spit up most of my breakfast and lunch. Oy!

I'm skeptical the dress will fit, but Daddy says
I'll look great no matter what I wear.
