I'm back!

It’s been way too long since I posted. I kept asking Mommy to help and she would say in a couple days. A couple days is a long time. It’s been over two months! I’ve been really busy. I went to temple and learned the new year song. Mommy and me still sing it. Mommy says it's stuck in her head. I keep looking for it but don’t see it. Nana went home to Florida. I miss her a lot. Sometimes I go and play in her room. Oh, I turned three! All my friends came over and we went on the Tumblebus and had bagels and cookie cake. I got lots of presents. My favorites are my clubhouse and my light-up seal pillow. I sleep with it every night. I was Marshall for Halloween. I got a lot of candy but Daddy took it away. Sethy keeps getting bigger. I really like holding him and helping with his “buttons” and getting him his paci. He goes to the same school I go to, but I’m now in Preschool 2 and he is in the baby room. I don’t get to see him, but I like to wave when I pass his room. Sometimes I get in trouble at school for not listening. They make me sit by myself for a time out. I don’t like that. I’ve gotten good at zippering my own coat. Mommy says my fingers are silly because they like to stick together and not go into each spot of my gloves. Silly fingers! It snowed for the first time today so I needed them!

First day of preschool

I started a new school today. My teachers are Miss Nicole and Miss Jess. I like them. I also got new friends. We played a lot and I got to nap on these things called cots. The best part was when I woke up mommy and daddy came back for me. Oh, I didn't like lunch.

Daddy had a big day too. It was his birthday today! Happy birthday to my favorite daddy!! I love you!

The perfect gift

It is mommy's birthday today. That means I get CAKE!!! Did you know mommy is two months old. (He he he.) At first I thought I would give mommy my lambie doll, but I'm miss it too much. Instead, I decided to get mommy a great photo of me. One where I'm looking at the camera, smiling and I don't have a paci. I think I did pretty good.

I'm two!

It's official, I'm two! We had a party at school today, but I wasn't feeling that good. I got my first ear infection. It was not what I was expecting for my birthday. I really thought I was going to get a Minnie doll. But I'm mature now, so I'm taking it well. Plus I got to go home early with mommy and there was a surprise waiting for me. Balloons and a trampoline!!!! Best gifts ever!

Birthday build up

It's not even my birthday yet and I had TWO cakes. And I got a Mickey Mouse that sings my favorite hot dog song, and a Mickey puzzle and a Doc McStuffins. Did I mention it's not even my birthday yet. I can't wait for tomorrow!

Age trickery

Can you believe my birthday is in one week. Whenever mommy asks me how old I'm going to be I say 13 months. Mommy always starts tickling my tummy and saying, "NO! You are going to be two." A lady never tells her real age. He he he.

Happy Daddy

Happy (I'm still working on saying birthday) Daddy!! Mommy says you are three and seven. I don't know how you can be two numbers. I do know how yummy ice cream cake is and how distracting (that means take attention away) it can be. I'm sorry I didn't look up for your picture, but I really wanted the cake on the table.

Best day ever!

It's official, I'm one!!!!! I had so much fun at my party in the park. I had my favorite Mexican food, I got to try birthday cake for the first time and played with my friends and family. And, it didn't rain! Who could ask for a better day? I especially liked running around the basketball court playing tag, watching my friends get their faces painted and going up and down the slide.

At one point, there was this one older boy who tried to crash my party (that means attend when you aren't invited), but Lisa set him straight. :) And later a bunch of the daddies got their faces painted. Silly daddies. It was the best day ever!!!

 

I'm almost one

Do you know my birthday is on Sunday? I'm going to be one! Can you believe it? This year has gone by so fast! Can you believe I've written 208 blog posts. That's a lot of posts! Thanks for always coming back to read about my adventures. Who knows what the next year will have in store for me. Hopefully I'll start talking more, running, growing hair and who knows what else. But first we party hardy tomorrow!!! See you there.

Can you believe my first birthday is exactly a month away?! All my other friends at daycare are already one so they told me what to expect—parties, presents and cake. I've never had cake before. I hear it is delicious, even better than rice and beans! And parties, who doesn't love a party?! I wonder what type of presents I'll get. Maybe I'll get lots of new plastic containers. I love playing with plastic containers. First I take them out of the kitchen cabinet, then I put them back in, then I take them out again, and put them back in. It's so fun. I'm bouncing on my butt just thinking about it.

Guess what day it is

It’s my three month birthday! It’s kind of crazy that I’m a quarter of a year old already. I am a little confused though. I was born on the 19th, so I figured my three month birthday would be on the 19th, but according to the calendar today is the official 12 week mark. Someone will have to explain that to me one day. 

I’m now 14 pounds, 6 ounces and 2 feet tall. I seem to be gaining two pounds each month. It all goes straight to my belly and cheeks. I’m not sure which is rounder. J  I’m officially out of all of my 0-3 month size clothes. We packed them all away today, which means I got to go shopping for new things. I can’t wait to show them off in the coming weeks. Turns out I’m not just getting bigger, my tastes are maturing too. I never used to like the vibrating function on my chair, but now I LOVE it! 

Oh yeah, the vibrate function is on.
