Chillin with doc
I had my two-and-half year old check up today. Want to guess how big I am? I'm 40 pounds (99th percentile) and 38 inches (97th percentile). Yup, I'm still an overachiever. I felt so comfortable in the doctor's office that I started rearranging the furniture. I made myself a chair and ottoman. There is nothing like sitting back and kicking your feet up. I also got another shot, but no big deal. As long as I get a band-aid I'm OK with them.

No cavities
I went to the dentist today. The lady counted my teeth. Guess how many I have? 20! Then the lady got rid of my germies and painted my teeth with bubble gum toothpaste. The best part was all the prizes I got. I got Paw Patrol stickers, Frozen stickers, bubbles, toothpaste and a toothbrush. I can't wait to go back!

Doctor check-in
I almost forgot to tell you. I went to the doctor last week for my two-year check-up appointment. I now weigh 37.5 pounds and I'm 36.75 inches tall. I think being fully dressed and wearing my sneakers added to my weight. (Just saying.) I got some more shots and some stickers. Pretty standard if you ask me.

Emergency!
I had a big boo-boo last night. Mommy and me were row-row-rowing and my arm popped. It hurt A LOT! Nana, me and mommy went to this place called urgent care. All the doctors and nurses there were so excited to see me. I went along with it and smiled and tilted my head a lot. They thought I was so cute. It was fun seeing all the beds and the equipment. The nurses put this blinking thing on my finger. They were silly and said it was like an alligator biting me, but I didn't fall for it. Alligators are green. Silly nurses. Doctor Ed popped my arm back. It was nursemaid's elbow again. What a silly name for a diagnosis (that means identifying the cause of a boo-boo). Doctor Ed was really nice, but he was no Doc McStuffins. He didn't give me a band-aid and he didn't sing the All Better song. One of the nurses did give me fishes and water, so that was good.

Medical overachiever
Latest doc numbers are in. At my 18 month check-up, I'm 33.5 inches tall and 30.5 pounds. Off the charts people, off the charts! I'm also no longer a baby. I got weighed on the big people scale. Pretty cool if you ask me!

Brush monster
Remember that place I was telling you about near day care that has the fishies, well, it is a dentist office and I had my first appointment today. Everyone was really friendly until they wanted to get into my mouth. I put up my best fight against the dentist lady who kept trying to brush my teeth. She even tried to paint this stuff on it that tasted funny. And can you believe this, mommy tried to help her while daddy took pictures!! I'll remember this next time you, mommy and daddy, are screaming for help. We'll see how much you like it when I help your attacker and take photos. The only good thing about the visit was playing with the spinning chair with the other kids in the waiting room.

Like a weed
I had my 15 month check-up today. I now weigh 28 pounds, NOT 30 plus like daddy has been telling everyone. (Not cool daddy.) And, I'm 32 1/4 inches tall. Did you hear that mommy? Stop buying me pants that are 34 inches long!!! My doc says I'm doing awesome, and even noticed my two top molar teeth are coming in. That could explain why I've been a little grumpy lately. The two shots I got didn't help either. When will these shots end?

Needles be gone
I had my one year check up today. The doctor couldn't believe how well I am walking. I now weigh 26 pounds, 4 ounces and I'm 31.5 inches long. That's the 98th percentile. In addition to the normal check up stuff I got four shots. FOUR! They came out of nowhere and boy did they hurt. Not cool doc, not cool.

There will be blood
I had another doctor check up today. I'm still super, super tall. Two and a half feet (30 inches) tall to be exact. That puts me in the 97th percentile. I weigh 23 pounds 14 ounces, which is the 95th percentile.
I didn't get any shots today but I did have my first blood draw. I was really curious about it at first. There was a big blue chair with these fun armrests that I liked putting up and down. Then the blood taker lady tied this tight blue band thing around my arm. It was kind of like a bracelet, but I think I needed the next size because it was really tight. Where things went bad was when I got pricked by a needle, twice! Mommy said it happened twice because the blood taker lady missed my little vein (the thing that holds the blood) the first time. It hurt a lot at first, but once it was over I guess it wasn't so bad. And I got two stickers. :)

Weighing in
I had my six-month check up today. I'm now 20 pounds 2 ounces and 28 inches long. That puts me in the 95th percentile for weight and 98th percentile for length. I forget how big they said my head was, but that's in the 90th percentile too. I guess I do have a big noggin, that's what daddy likes to call my head. I got some more shots too, but they were no big deal. I'm a pro when it comes to shots now.

Hey doc!
I had my four-month check up today. I now weigh 16 pounds, 3
ounces and I’m 26 inches long. I’m in the 90th percentile and have a
perfect height-to-weight ratio. I got a bunch more shots today and more Band-Aids.
I even managed not to pee on the scale like I normally do. Mommy was so proud.

Band-Aid blitz
I had my two month checkup on Wednesday. I’m now 12 pound 7
ounces and 23.5 inches long. That puts me in the 75th percentile. Not
too shabby. I got a bunch of shots, which I didn’t really mind. I think my
chubby thighs helped to dull the pain. I liked that they came with these really
cool silver sparkly Band-Aids. Then yesterday, mommy was trimming my nails and
clipped some skin so I got a third Band-Aid. This time it was a Muppets one. Since
it was on my finger, and I love putting my hands in my mouth, I had to wear
this silly glove on my hand all day. It’s only silly because it is waaaaaay too
big for me.

Thumbs up doc
I had my one month check-up today. I've grown half an inch
and gained two pounds and one ounce. The doctor said all my measurements are
great and developmentally I'm a rock star who is already smiling and tracking
voices and movement. I was so excited about the compliment that I peed on the
table next to the scale and then spit up. Once that got cleaned up, I was so
relieved and relaxed that I accidentally pooped and spit up on the nurse’s
table. I must say, not my finest moments. I sure needed a bath today.
