Saturday day date

Dave and I had a day date today. We went to a play. (We are fancy.) It was about a group of friends who went on an adventure all around the world. We sat right next to each other and David even shared his lollipops with me (but don't tell Daddy, he won't let me have them.) After the show, we went running hand in hand down the street giggling. David didn't seemed to mind when I stopped and petted each dog we passed. We also went for ice cream and then to a a toy store that let's you play with stuff. We both tried out scooters. Weeee. I totally want one.

Post show bliss.

Material girl

Check out my new black leather skirt. I LOVE it. It was a birthday present from Jersey Fran. It made all my daycare girlfriends jealous. :) There are no boys at school that I'm interested in anymore. Instead, I'm really into Fran's grandson, David. We hung out last weekend and he hugged and kissed me many, many times. Daddy started to get a little mad. (He he.) Mommy thought it was funny and just took photos.

This skirt is my favorite!
Me and David. What a hunk!

Hudson revisited

Remember Hudson, the boy who I had my first date with? Well, I ran into him at the park today. He has gotten so big. He's practically running these days and he gave me a ride all over the playground in his cart. We went down the slide together. We even shared a water bottle. This is why I like an older man. They know how to treat a little lady. Sadly, Hudson is moving with his family to New York next week. We may never see each other again. It's sad to think about that. I know I'll never forget him, my first friend.

Thanks for the lift, Hudson!
This went better than our first date.
Sliding is more fun with Hudson by my side.

What about me?

Mommy and daddy keep leaving me at home to go to concerts. Tonight was Billy Joel. What about me? I like Billy too. I heard next week they are going to see Bruno Mars without me. Not fair!
It's not all bad though. I do have a ton of fun hanging out with my babysitters, especially Courtney. We gossip about everyone at day care and play all sorts of games. She even gave me the scoop that Jack is moving away and a few of the other kids are leaving school. I wonder who the newbies will be.

What?! You're going to a concert and leaving me home?

Sunday swinging

One of my favorite things to do is go swinging with daddy. We tried out a new tire swing this weekend. I was a little embarrassed because my dress kept flying up and there were boys at the park. Daddy says not to worry. By the time he lets me date, when I'm 30, they will forget.

Boys, boys, boys

Remember my first date with Hudson? Well, I saw him today for the first time in four months. I was a little nervous to meet up because I've put on some weight. Turns out so did he, so that was a relief. We had a good time. At one point Hudson ran his hand over my cheek and it gave me the chills, but I kept it together. We actually met up at our friend Nathan's house. Nathan and me ended up spending a lot of time together because Hudson kept crawling away. I think he was trying to impress me, but all it did was let me get to know Nathan better. Later in the day, when we were at the park, I decided to go on the swings with Nathan instead of Hudson. I think I'm crushing on Nathan.

Nathan is a certified hunk, even his shirt says so.

Oh boy trouble

Quick update on Jack. He's still mine! Luckily, nobody stole him while I was on vacation. :) I did overhear he may move up to the toddler room. Say it isn't so! We won't be able to so easily flirt if that happens. I'm not sure I'm ready for a long distance relationship.

Back to Boston and boys

Well, we made it home from vacation. Mommy and daddy keep talking about being back to the grind on Monday. I don't know what that is and they sure don't seem excited about it. Me, I'm looking forward to getting back to day care. I hope none of the other girls stole my boyfriend Jack while I was gone. Every morning when I get dropped off, Jack crawls up to me to say hello. He is so dreamy! Jack is a little older and he's super strong. He is able to pull himself up all by himself. While I can't do that yet, I plan to impress him with my flexibility. I figured out how to practically make myself into a pretzel this week. I don't think any of the other girls can do that! And, I can now sit up all by myself.

Hey Jack, check out this flexibility.
Look who can sit up all by themself!

First date revisited

Now, I know I’m supposed to play hard to get, but I got a text from Hudson today that he was in the area if I wanted to meet up. I really wasn’t doing anything else, and it was such a nice day out, so I said sure. We met for froyo and a short stroll before he had to go to an appointment in the area. I wasn’t feeling up to my normal chatty self, so I let Hudson do most of the babbling. He also showed me his super wicked bubble-blowing skills. This could be the start of something … then again, I’m way too young to get tied down.

First date and mommy’s birthday

A couple of you have been asking how my first date went. I was hoping you would have forgotten I mentioned it because I’m a little embarrassed to say the date never materialized. (Mommy taught me that big word today.) Hudson and I shared a few emails but then communication stopped. I’m not sure why. Mommy told me it isn’t me, it’s him and that boys (other than daddies) can be unreliable sometimes.

I did see Hudson again today at our weekly mommy and me class. We sat next to each other, but he played it cool, as if he didn’t ask me out and then never followed through. I did notice he was much more interested in the boy sitting on the other side of him than me. Just saying…

Today was mommy’s birthday. We spent the WHOLE day together. I tried to be on my best behavior, and I was, except for when I had a little accident and pooped my pants. After that, though, I was great. We walked around the mall, had lunch with our new mommy friends, went to class, picked daddy up from work and then went out for dinner. It was a long day, so my gift to mommy is to sleep through the whole night! Oh, how cool is this? I’m three weeks and four days old today and mommy is 34 years old today. Pretty neat! Here's a picture of us cuddling on the couch tonight. People keep saying I look just like her. What do you think?

Making friends

Mommy took me to a class yesterday where there were other babies and mommies. I was the youngest one there. I was also one of only two girls in the entire class. Mommy tells me that means I have my pick of all eight of the boys to make my first boyfriend. At first I thought Liam was really cute, and then Cole came in and Fritz and Jack and Hudson and Charlie. It was a hottie heaven!

Turns out I made a good impression because Hudson has already asked me on a date. His mommy and my mommy are going to chaperone as we take a stroll around Brookline. I’ll let you know how it goes.
