Help! Thief!
I just noticed today that my kitchen was missing. Then I noticed my bike was missing. I looked a little more and my carriage was missing too. Where did all my toys go?

Pedal (almost) pusher
I'm getting so close to being tall enough to ride my bike. My feet reach the pedals, but not enough to push them all the way around. I still like going on the bike and scooting around using my feet. Mommy says I look like Fred Flinstone when I do that. (I looked him up. I don't think it is a good thing.) As long as mommy lets me go fast down hills on my bike, she can call me whatever she wants.

Flying ball pits
I went to a birthday party yesterday and discovered the best toy in the whole world--a ball pit!!! I want one, I want one, I want one! Do you think I can get mommy and daddy to get one in our house? To make room, we can get rid of the couch or my crib. We don't need those. We NEED a ball pit.

Wheeeee. Throw me again, daddy. |

11 down, 1 to go
Can you believe my first birthday is exactly a month away?!
All my other friends at daycare are already one so they told me what to expect—parties,
presents and cake. I've never had cake before. I hear it is delicious, even
better than rice and beans! And parties, who doesn't love a party?! I wonder
what type of presents I'll get. Maybe I'll get lots of new plastic containers.
I love playing with plastic containers. First I take them out of the kitchen
cabinet, then I put them back in, then I take them out again, and put them back
in. It's so fun. I'm bouncing on my butt just thinking about it.

CSI Boston
Bouncing around on my butt all day sure does make me tired. Sometimes I pass out right in the middle of playing with my toys. Mommy says it looks like a kiddo crime scene.

Snowed In
It snowed and snowed and snowed all day today. I really loved looking out the window and seeing the white stuff cover everything. It was mesmerizing. I
wonder how long everything will stay white and pretty like this. The one bad thing about snow is
that we have to stay inside all day. As much as mommy and daddy tried to
entertain me, I did miss going to day care today (and I think they missed me
going.) I missed day care mainly because yesterday we had a puppet show and I
got to try one of the toys the bigger kids use. They call it the bouncer and it
was A-W-E-S-O-M-E. I got to move and bop all around and there were all these
different things that I could touch and play with on the bouncer. I couldn’t
wait to go back today and try it again. Hopefully it will stop snowing so I can go back to day care tomorrow.

Grip master
I’ve figured out how to hold on to stuff and it’s changed my
life! Before, I’d have something in my hands and after a few seconds it was
gone, usually falling to the floor. Then I’d sometimes have to cry to get
someone to give me the item back. But now, I can have something in my hand,
flail my arms about, and it will still be in my hand. It’s so cool!!! I’ve been
holding on to all different things; toys, my pacifier, people’s shirts. I even
grabbed the monitor mommy and daddy use to watch me at night and nearly knocked
it off the dresser. Don’t tell them, but I’m going to keep working on breaking
that monitor. It’s freaky knowing someone is spying on you.

Look at the toys I can now hold. |
