What about me?

Mommy and daddy keep leaving me at home to go to concerts. Tonight was Billy Joel. What about me? I like Billy too. I heard next week they are going to see Bruno Mars without me. Not fair!
It's not all bad though. I do have a ton of fun hanging out with my babysitters, especially Courtney. We gossip about everyone at day care and play all sorts of games. She even gave me the scoop that Jack is moving away and a few of the other kids are leaving school. I wonder who the newbies will be.

Showy shorts

My shorts show a lot of leg and that certainly gets the attention of the boys at day care. I know it's a compliment and all when the boys crawl up to, but I could use some more personal space. Just yesterday, Jack nearly climbed right up my legs and to my face like he was going to kiss me. Good thing I had a block to fend him off.

Sunday swinging

One of my favorite things to do is go swinging with daddy. We tried out a new tire swing this weekend. I was a little embarrassed because my dress kept flying up and there were boys at the park. Daddy says not to worry. By the time he lets me date, when I'm 30, they will forget.

Chomping and crawling

Mommy has been sick so she hasn't been able to help me post. Now that she is a little better I have so much to share! My two top teeth have come in. Now I got me four chompers. They aren't fully down, but they are out. It makes it so much easier to chew stuff, real food like chicken and pasta. You can see the teeth sometimes when I smile, but they are elusive (that means difficult to catch) so I have no photo proof yet. It's so hard to see them because I'm constantly on the move. I finally figured out how to crawl. Mommy and daddy may never catch me for a photo ever again. Sitting still is for babies!

My favorite things to crawl toward are shoes and cell phones. Sometimes crawling around makes me so tired that I just pass out where ever I am, like standing up in my jump-a-roo. Pretty funny, huh.

I'm one tired turtle, as mommy likes to say.

New wheels

I got my first set of wheels. I call her Yellow Magic and she is awesome! She makes all kinds of noises and goes real real fast when you get her going. I'm still trying to figure out how to drive myself. She sure is tricky on the turns. Another few tries and I know I'll get it.

Daddy's day

Today is Daddy's Day! I have the best daddy in the whole wide WORLD! Nobody else throws me over their shoulder and makes me giggle or flies me around like I'm an airplane making funny sounds or rocks me to bed like my daddy. I love you. Hugs and wet kisses!

Germ-a-rific

Allegedly (that means you are being blamed when there is no proof), I got mommy and daddy sick. For the record, I was not hiding the fact I was sick. It's not my fault if I'm so cute they can't stop kissing me.
