Shopping suckers

I figured out a foolproof way to get any clothes I want even when mommy doesn't want to buy it. See my new purple jacket? Mommy wasn't going to get it because the sleeves are really long, but I really liked it. So much so that I spit up on it in front of the sales lady. And guess what, turns out we HAD to buy it. He he he.

Who can resist this face? Who I ask you?

Don’t cry for me, rice cereal

This eating food thing can be quite traumatic. I tried cereal for the first time yesterday. I liked it at first, but then I started freaking out because mommy and daddy kept feeding me and feeding me and I didn’t want anymore. I didn’t realize that if I didn’t want any more that I should stop opening my mouth when the spoon was there. If I just knew that, I could have avoided all the screaming and tears. I think I’ll be ready for tonight’s food adventure a little better.

This was before I started freaking out.

Oh boy trouble

Quick update on Jack. He's still mine! Luckily, nobody stole him while I was on vacation. :) I did overhear he may move up to the toddler room. Say it isn't so! We won't be able to so easily flirt if that happens. I'm not sure I'm ready for a long distance relationship.

First fine dining

For almost six months, I've been watching everyone eat all types of food while I just sat back and had my bottles. Today, I got my first taste of real food. It was something called sweet potatoes. They smelt good and tasted OK. I wasn't quite sure what to do with the food in my mouth so I just moved it around with my tongue and then a bunch spilled out of my mouth. Mommy and daddy kept saying I should swallow the food. I'll have to Google what that means tomorrow.

I have no idea what's going on, but I'll smile for the picture.
What is this weird stuff? I'm not sure how I feel about it.

Back to Boston and boys

Well, we made it home from vacation. Mommy and daddy keep talking about being back to the grind on Monday. I don't know what that is and they sure don't seem excited about it. Me, I'm looking forward to getting back to day care. I hope none of the other girls stole my boyfriend Jack while I was gone. Every morning when I get dropped off, Jack crawls up to me to say hello. He is so dreamy! Jack is a little older and he's super strong. He is able to pull himself up all by himself. While I can't do that yet, I plan to impress him with my flexibility. I figured out how to practically make myself into a pretzel this week. I don't think any of the other girls can do that! And, I can now sit up all by myself.

Hey Jack, check out this flexibility.
Look who can sit up all by themself!

Divot day

I went to my first polo match today. The horses were fun to watch and I even got to stomp divots with mommy and daddy at halftime. I'm glad it has been a little too cool out to go to the pool because I tried my bathing suit on in the house and it was a little snug. I'd be pretty self conscious out in public. I may need to cut back on my bottles. Instead of going swimming we went bowling. Daddy kept joking he could roll me down the lane, but no one, including me, thought it was funny. (Sorry daddy.) We leave Florida tomorrow and I'm sad. I can't wait to come back and visit again.

My tankini and me never made it to the pool.

Daddy, will you get me this golf cart
when I'm old enough to drive?
