Snowy Selfie Sunday

I got to play in the snow today. Well, I don’t know if it qualifies as playing. I couldn’t really move my arms or legs in my snowsuit. It was still fun!

I want to eat the snow. It looks yummy.
I can't move my arms or legs, but I am warm!

Be my valentine

Today is another holiday—Valentine’s Day. (So yes, mommy dressed me up again.) This holiday is all about mushy, gushy love. I sure hope my day care crush Neve asks me to be his valentine. (Daddy is my backup.) I’ve been planning my outfit all week. I got these new red skinny jeans and this top with lots of red hearts. And, since it has been snowing so much, I think I may also wear these sparkly black Uggs my friend Yael gave me. Do you think Neve will think I’m trying too hard? I saw some of the older kids making Valentine’s Day cards the other day. I wonder if he made one for me. I’m so excited; I can barely wait to get to day care. Get up already mommy…I’m ready to get dressed and get going!

Snow trekkers

It took more than 30 minutes to stroll home from day care today. It was snowing and sleeting and raining. It was crazy. I was all warm and dry in the stroller with my plastic cover. Poor mommy was drenched by the time we got home. The stroller kept getting stuck in all the slushy snow, but lots of people kept helping to lift up the tires and get us to clearer pathways. Thanks neighbors! I can’t wait to go out and play in the snow. We tried on my snow suit, but it was too dark to go out and play. I’ve been promised I can play in the snow this weekend.

Umm..what happened to my feet?

Hey doc!

I had my four-month check up today. I now weigh 16 pounds, 3 ounces and I’m 26 inches long. I’m in the 90th percentile and have a perfect height-to-weight ratio. I got a bunch more shots today and more Band-Aids. I even managed not to pee on the scale like I normally do. Mommy was so proud.

On the scale at the doctor's office.

Busy bee

My schedule sure is demanding. Between spending most of my day at day care playing with puppets, reading books, sitting in the swing, bopping in the bouncer and flirting with all the boys, and then coming home and mommy and daddy wanting me to constantly practice rolling over or trying to get me to crawl, I’m just exhausted. Add in staying up to watch the Olympics these last few nights, it’s no wonder I haven’t had time to post and I’m pooped!

I usually catch up on my sleep on the weekends, but we were traveling to New Jersey (that’s a state next to New York) this weekend for cousin Rachael’s wedding. On the drive down, I entertained myself having staring contests with my toy turtle, Tammy. Tammy kept winning. She just never seems to blink. I didn’t actually get to go to the wedding, instead aunt Heidi came to the hotel to play with me. We had so much fun. I love her a lot, even if she makes fun of my clothes that aren’t from Denny’s.

One of my cousins is having his Bar Mitzvah in a few weeks. At first I heard my cousins Tama, Sydney and Max weren’t going and I planned to publicly shame them here on my blog, hoping they would feel bad and decide to show up. Guess what? All I had to do was send them a picture of me holding my breath saying I wouldn’t let it go until they came and now they are coming! Who is all mighty and powerful? Me! J  I’m looking forward to meeting all my other cousins at the party. I wonder what I'm going to wear?

How's this for a Denny's outfit aunt Heidi?

I know, I know - and a Selfie Sunday

I know, I've been delinquent (that means bad) at posting lately, but I've just been so busy doing so many things. I'm traveling right now in New Jersey, and while I have tiny fingers, I hate typing on mommy's cell phone so you're going to have to wait until I get home later today and can get on a laptop to read about my adventures. Here is a photo aunt Heidi took of me last night to hold you over.  :)

Thanks for hanging out with me aunt Heidi.
