Pumping iron

When I was in mommy’s tummy we used to work out together all the time. We did boot camp, cycling, a duathlon (run-bike-run) and lots of walking. The day before I was born, we even did the four-mile walk home from mommy’s office. Sadly, mommy is still too sore to work out with me, so I’m looking for a temporary workout buddy. Any takers? I'm a rock star when it comes to burpees!

Whaaa!

What a day, WHAT A DAY! There was nothing mommy or daddy could do tonight to make me happy. They tried all the usual things, but I was not having it. I cried for hours. Eventually I tired myself out. I’m not sure what’s wrong, Maybe it is because it was raining today and we didn't get out. Whatever it is, I hope I feel better tomorrow.

PS: I'm sorry mommy for screaming in your ear. I'll let daddy know about the noise-cancelling head phones you said you want for your birthday.

Baseball loyalties

What does it mean if my Red Sox socks keep coming off? Is my inner Yankee fan trying to break out? Just saying...

Making friends

Mommy took me to a class yesterday where there were other babies and mommies. I was the youngest one there. I was also one of only two girls in the entire class. Mommy tells me that means I have my pick of all eight of the boys to make my first boyfriend. At first I thought Liam was really cute, and then Cole came in and Fritz and Jack and Hudson and Charlie. It was a hottie heaven!

Turns out I made a good impression because Hudson has already asked me on a date. His mommy and my mommy are going to chaperone as we take a stroll around Brookline. I’ll let you know how it goes.

Oui, Oui

All gussied up in my beret and clothes with Paris scenes on it, mommy and Nana dragged me around to a bunch of stores today. It was exhausting! By the time I got home, I needed to unwind. When dressed like a Parisian, unwind like a Parisian.
(Mommy - next time get me a baguette and some French macaroons. They are my favorite.)

The spa

I had my first full bath today. Talk about luxurious! It is so much better than sponge baths. I loved splashing my feet in the water and having my head shampooed. I could easily get used to this every day. Actually, I was so relaxed that I pooped in the water. I guess you’re not supposed to do that because Daddy got grossed out (again) and ran out of the room. I don’t know why he is so afraid of poop. J

Nana visits

Nana came up from New York to play with me for a few days. She is quite persistent. She keeps putting me in this rocker chair and telling me I’m going to like it. I cry and cry, but every few hours, she keeps putting me back in there. Of course, she was right. I do like the chair, I just had to get used to it. Thanks Nana!

Daddy has been sick this past week so I haven’t gotten to snuggle with him. Luckily, he is feeling better and was able to hold me today. To show him how much I missed him, when we went to change my poopy diaper, midway through the change I pooped again, and as he was done cleaning me up a second time, I pooped a third time. He got grossed out and mommy had to finish. She couldn’t stop laughing. Maybe I’ll do that again next time daddy changes me.

I also figured out how to hold a bottle on my own. I’m so smart! J
