The end

Mommy keeps telling me it's done, and I've kept saying, "not yet," but I think she is right. I'm tired of begging mommy to always help me write. I'm sad I won't be able to share my adventures and photos with you anymore...well at least until I learn how to type for myself. That's probably at least a few years from now, so in the meantime just Duo me. Thanks for reading my adventures for the last three years. You are "super awesome!"

I'm so proud of Sethy. We didn't see it, but his teacher say he rolled on his side at school today. Good job Sethy! Soon you'll be big enough to run around with me.

Hanukkah ready

I’m so excited for Hanukkah. On the way to school I make mommy play the Hanukkah song and the dreidel song over and over and over. There are so many things that I want for Hanukkah. I see them all on TV and say, "I want that." Mommy always says, put it on the list for Hanukkah. I hope I get all of them.

I'm back!

It’s been way too long since I posted. I kept asking Mommy to help and she would say in a couple days. A couple days is a long time. It’s been over two months! I’ve been really busy. I went to temple and learned the new year song. Mommy and me still sing it. Mommy says it's stuck in her head. I keep looking for it but don’t see it. Nana went home to Florida. I miss her a lot. Sometimes I go and play in her room. Oh, I turned three! All my friends came over and we went on the Tumblebus and had bagels and cookie cake. I got lots of presents. My favorites are my clubhouse and my light-up seal pillow. I sleep with it every night. I was Marshall for Halloween. I got a lot of candy but Daddy took it away. Sethy keeps getting bigger. I really like holding him and helping with his “buttons” and getting him his paci. He goes to the same school I go to, but I’m now in Preschool 2 and he is in the baby room. I don’t get to see him, but I like to wave when I pass his room. Sometimes I get in trouble at school for not listening. They make me sit by myself for a time out. I don’t like that. I’ve gotten good at zippering my own coat. Mommy says my fingers are silly because they like to stick together and not go into each spot of my gloves. Silly fingers! It snowed for the first time today so I needed them!

Beam lover

We didn't go to the gym today, we went to gymnastics. It's for big girls. Mommy and Nana watched from the window. I did tumbles on the mats. I walked sideways and did a forward roll on the balance beam and I went jump, jump, jump on this really looooong trampoline. I love my special leotard. That is what you wear at gymnastics.

So excited, I can't wait to go in!

I want one of those shiny trophies.

Nana has moved in!

Poppi went home to Florida, but Nana stayed-Yay! I love going into Nana's room in the morning. She also picks me up from school. Nana is my best buddy. I love you Nana!

Party!

We had a party today. Everyone came to see me. Nana, Poppi, Aunt Heidi, Mya, Lauren, Papa Bob, Carol, Nannie Susie, Aunt Eleanor, Uncle Stanley...everyone! I wore a pretty dress and gave everyone tours of our house. I got lots of presents. My favorite was a pink dragon from Eleanor. Seth got presents too. He cried a lot when this lady did something to him. Mommy said the doctor was just checking him. The doctor has never come to the house before. I can't wait until our next party. Maybe Seth will like that one better.

They called the party a bris, but I don't know why.

I'm a big sister!

I knew it was coming, but I didn't quite believe it. I'M A BIG SISTER!!!! I have a brother, Seth. He is really cute. I like squishing his head, touching his face and tickling his feet. I'm the best big sister!

Epic meltdown!

I was having the best time in the tub tonight playing a new game. I catch my animals in the net and then let them go. Way too soon mommy started to let the water go down the drain and I WAS NOT HAPPY!!! I didn't want to get out. I hit her, I screamed, I pushed the drain back up. I swam around the tub when mommy tried to take me out. When I was out, I kicked and screamed on the floor. I cried, I yelled. I was SO MAD!!! Daddy put me in the crib to calm down and that just made me MADDER! Mommy took me out and after a while I calmed down. I even scared myself how out of control I was.

School stalking

All day long our teachers are taking photos of us. Mommy calls them the paparazzi. I don't know why. I never see papa at school. Ever since the teachers starting taking photos mommy and daddy always seem to know what I do at school. Even when they ask and I say, "nothing," they always seem to know. How do they do that?

First haircut

I got my first haircut today. I look so pretty. First the lady (what's her name?) sprayed my hair wet. Then she brushed my hair and used a scissor to cut it. You have to be very still and keep your chin down. I kept wanting to check in the mirror to see what the lady was doing. In the end, I looked beautiful! I can't wait to go back.

Hopped on up and ready to go.

Old McDonald comes to school

I'm been to the zoo before, but I've never had the zoo come to me. At school today there were pigs and bunnies and dogs and goats. I got to feed them and hold them and brush them. Some of the animals peed and pooped on the floor...just like me sometimes. He he he.

Funny Nana

Nana's been working on my spelling with me. I used to spell my name: L-E-7-1-4-X, but now I spell it L-E-X-I. I miss the numbers a little bit, but I love hearing Nana say, "Hey- give me five," every time I spell it L-E-X-I. Nana is so funny.

They came!

Nana and Poppy finally made it! I was so surprised to wake up and see them here that it took me a few seconds to realized it was really them. Then, I couldn't stop smiling... or talking all day! We had the best day. We went to the book store where I got a little green monkey I call monkey. We went to the indoor playground and I also helped Poppy with his big puzzle. We were so busy we forgot to take any photos. Nana promised me a special present if I have no accidents and pee and poop in the potty so I've been extra good. I wonder what I'll get.

When I grow up...

This week was career week at school. We learned about firemen and doctors and a bunch of other jobs. I decided I want to be a school bus driver. Then I can say, "move on back" to everyone. He he he.  

 

I love free time at school when I can
relax and read.

If the school bus driver thing doesn't
work out I plan to be a drummer.

Makeup for me

Guess what I got today? Give up? My very own makeup! I have blush and eye shadow and lipstick. Just like mommy, but it's all mine! I look so pretty!



I even have a special flower makeup bag.

Two weeks

Every day when I ask mommy when Nana and Poppi are coming or when Uncle Stanley or Aunt Eleanor are coming the answer is always two weeks. Two weeks feels like a really long time. That got me thinking, shouldn't the answer change? Something seems wrong.

I need a countdown calendar.

The tumblebus came to visit us at school today. It is the most fun bus ever! There were ladders to climb on and bars to swing from and mats to do rolls on. I hope it comes back everyday.
