Suspicious fish

The man on the train seems suspicious. I'm going to keep an eye on him. See something, say something.

Headed to see fishes downtown.

Cutting back

Mommy says I need to cut back on screen time (that means I can’t blog as often). I know it is sad, but no matter how much I love blogging, I love Curious George and Elmo more. I promise I'll still share my adventures, it just won't be as often.

Shrinking away

Help! My ice creams keep shrinking. Last week I got a big cup. Today, I got this really small cup. What's going on?

Oh yeah, that's good stuff.
Really, there is no more?

Can I have some more?

Hi Hi-d

I'm so excited aunt Heidi, uncle Justin and cousins Mya and Lauren are coming to visit today. I can't wait to show them all my shoes. I might even show off my belly button. He he he. I've been working on saying their names all week. Mommy is a drill sargent (that means very demanding) when it comes to names.

Mommy, where they are?
I think I see them!
We read, we eat, we play. Cousins are the best!
Reading time. Mya, you're silly.
I love my aunt Heidi!

Calling your name

One of my favorite things to do is to call people's names and when I get their attention, run away. I'll say mommy, mommy, mommy, mommy, mommy. Once she say, "Yes Lexi," I smirk and then run away. It's fun doing it with Poppy too. I'll say Poppy, Poppy, Poppy and mommy will call him up on Skype. I'll see him, smirk and then run away from the phone. At school I call Rori, Rori, Rori, Rori. It's such a fun game!

Softball coaster

Mommy and daddy had their first softball game today. It was an emotional roller coaster. I laughed (at the other team's doggie when it licked my face), I whined (when I wasn't allowed to swing the metal bat around), I cheered (when daddy made it on base), I yelled (when I wasn't allowed to take the field with the rest of the team), and I even cried (when I saw some swings nearby that I wasn't allowed to go on because it was the middle of the game). I guess it was fun, I just hope this doesn't become a regular thing. It's exhausting being a spectator (that means a watcher).

So much fun in the park with Julia.
We are ladies who love to swing.
The Galfunts came to visit today, but no boys
allowed in this photo.

What a drag

Mommy and daddy got me this new seat, but they keep leaving it in the bathroom. I'm not sure why. I need the seat in the living room where I watch TV and read. For the last few days, I just keep dragging it from the bathroom into the living room. Silly mommy and daddy. Just leave it there already.

This chair sure is comfy.

Junk grabs

Lately, after I poop, I've been letting everyone know by grabbing my diaper and saying "I poop. I poop." Mommy says I'll be a great marketer. I don't know about that. What I do know is once I say it I get changed pretty quickly, which I like. Sometimes, it's fun to trick everyone. Like this morning, I grabbed my diaper and yelled "I poop. I poop." Mommy went to change me and ... fake out. There was nothing there. He he he he.

Bad daddy

Daddy didn't give me advance warning that it was Mother's Day today so I didn't have anything special for mommy. Bad daddy. I need time to plan! Geesh! I hope mommy isn't too sad. I'll have to think about how to make it up to her. Hmmm.

Feeling sad about not knowing about Mother's Day.

Finger trick

I learned a neat trick. If you stick your finger up one part of your nose and blow, then stuff comes flying out the other side. The trick even works on both side. I used to blow my whole nose at once and nothing came out. This is so much better!

Days be hiding

This week sure went fast. One day it was Monday and all of a sudden it became Friday. Where did the other days go? Maybe they are hiding in the playground. I'm going to go look for them now. Be right back.

Nope, no Tuesday hiding here.
No Wednesday or Thursday here either.

Please don't sting me

Ever since I came home from school with a few notes saying I'm both scared and obsessed with beesthere are a lot in the park we go tomommy has been singing this silly baby bumble bee song to me. It makes me chuckle a little. But, it's not helping mommy, so stop singing already.

Drawing therapy to get over my bee fear.

There will be twirling

Whenever I hear music I need to dance. But sometimes, when I really like the beat, I need to twirl!! Sure, I usually end up falling and bumping into something, but twirling is still super fun.

Do you know how to get to...

I got to go to Sesame Street today! I sang and danced with Elmo, Abby, Grover, Big Bird, Oscar and all their friends. I LOVED it. I sure hope we get to go back soon, especially now that I know it is only a short train ride away. Who knew?

When we left Sesame Street, we walked around Boston for a bit and found this big twirly thing called a merry-go-round. It had all these animals that you sit on that go up and down as it goes round and round. The first time I rode a turtle with mommy and then I rode a lobster with daddy. When they made me get off I cried and cried and cried. It was so sad. We ran out of these things called tickets that you need to ride. If anyone has tickets, PLEASE send them to me.

Waiting for the show to start.

I'm on a flying turtle! I'm on a flying turtle! Weeee!

Riding the rails home.

Heel time

I don't know why big ladies complain about high heels. This little lady has no problem walking in them.
