Raisin calling

Finding a new writing partner is harder than I thought. No resumes yet. I guess I'll have to stick with mommy, at least for now. To give her credit, she gets me. She understood today when I pointed at the cabinet and said "ney, ney, ney" that I wanted raisins. I've only ever had raisins once before. How she figured it out I don't know, but I'm glad she did.

How dare you ruin the ending!

Mommy is fired!

I need a new blogging partner. Mommy, apparently, is too busy to help me post as often as I like. This weekend, daddy and me went to the Basketball Hall of Fame. We got awesome videos of me dribbling, passing and even dunking! Have you seen them on my blog? NO! And why? Because mommy is too busy to post them. Daddy also took a video of me on my first big girl swing all by myself (and of me falling off). Have you seen the video on my blog? No! And why? You guessed it, mommy is too "tired" to help me post. She couldn't even manage to post a selfie Sunday!! It's ridiculous! I'm growing up fast here and need a reliable posting partner. So, I'm hiring. Post your resume in the comments if you are interested.

Go Go Go Runners!

Mommy and me were cheerleaders today for the Boston Marathon I yelled "weeee" as the bicycle racers went by and "go, go, go" as the runners went by. Some were really fast and others walked and looked super tired. I clapped and cheered them all. A bunch even laughed when they saw me poking my head through the orange barriers. I wanted so much to be running with everyone that I started running on the crowd side of the barriers. At one point, I even threw my pacifier over the barrier and onto the course. If mommy would have let me get it, I planned to start running down the race route. But that mommy, she knows my tricks. Instead, I had to settle for cheering and dancing my feet to the music being played nearby. Maybe I'll run the race next year.

All that cheering is exhausting.

Saturday day date

Dave and I had a day date today. We went to a play. (We are fancy.) It was about a group of friends who went on an adventure all around the world. We sat right next to each other and David even shared his lollipops with me (but don't tell Daddy, he won't let me have them.) After the show, we went running hand in hand down the street giggling. David didn't seemed to mind when I stopped and petted each dog we passed. We also went for ice cream and then to a a toy store that let's you play with stuff. We both tried out scooters. Weeee. I totally want one.

Post show bliss.

Medical overachiever

Latest doc numbers are in. At my 18 month check-up, I'm 33.5 inches tall and 30.5 pounds. Off the charts people, off the charts! I'm also no longer a baby. I got weighed on the big people scale. Pretty cool if you ask me!

Back to leather

We made it back to Boston very late Monday night. Next thing I know, it's morning and we're headed back to daycare. Everyone was so happy to see me. I hugged and kissed (closed mouth) everyone. Oh, and it finally warmed up, so I got to wear my leather jacket. The best assessory for a leather jacket? A zebra of course!

Vacation lessons

I learned two new things today.
  1. I'm terrified of butterflies. Who knew? Not me and not until after we paid to get into the Butterfly Farm. There were so many of them and they were flying at me from all directions. Mommy kept saying, "oh, look how pretty." She is crazy. Butterflies are monsters. Never again!
  2. Warm pool water is icky. Who knew? Not me until I tried to drink it and daddy said, "don't do that, people pee in here." Ewwww!
Don't even think of flying near me, butterflies.
This is how you float in style.

This water feels warm, maybe a little too warm if you
know what I mean.

Hello Aruba

We made it to Aruba! This is just what I needed. A break from it all. No more waking up early for school. No more having to share this and share that all day. No more rules. Just the sun (so long coat!), the sand (it's like a giant sand table here!), the water and a tall bottle of milk and I'm in heaven! Just about the only not so good thing is that I keep dropping my pacifier in the sand and then it tastes gross. But it's a small price to pay.

No zoo for you

Can you believe mommy and daddy went to the zoo without me? The zoo!! I know, I'm astonished (that means surprised) too. I did get to spend the whole day with Nana and Poppy, which was so much fun. It was non-stop. We moved furniture, played with bubbles, watched Elmo, went for a walk and I even got to try and hide some of poppy's puzzle pieces. He he he. (He didn't think it was so funny). Even though I wasn't at the zoo, I did spend a lot of the day looking for a cat. Nana kept saying, "come here pussy cat." I looked and looked and looked and found no cat. I hope Nana finds it.

To grandma's house we go

Weeee! We went on a plane today. That would have been exciting enough, it is Passover and all, but guess who met us when we landed. Go ahead, guess? NANA AND POPPY!!

Nana, can we go on the spinny bag thing?

Don't Pass-over me

Have I told you how much I love matzo balls? They are one of my favorite Jewish foods in the whole world. Today I got to have two of them and play with my cousins at a Passover sedar. We ran and giggled, and jumped on the couch and played games. At Lenore and Marvin's house they even had a dog, Molly. At first I didn't like her. I would only wave from a distance. But, by later in the night, I was petting her and saying, "hi woof woof." Oh, and I even got to try some special grape juice and this apple stuff that was delicious! Holidays are the best...especially now that mommy doesn't try to dress me up funny anymore.

How many questions do you
 want me to ask?
More matzo balls please.
