Bean lady and the bath

Like I was saying, I get myself pretty dirty. Here's a before and after from tonight. We had my favorite, Mexican chicken and beans. Looks like we'll be doing more laundry tonight!

(Beginning of the meal.) Don't disturb me, I'm eating.

(Middle of the meal.) Can I have some more please?

(End of the meal.) Ahhh, all full. That was delicious!

Finally, all clean.

Laundry lady

I love smashing food in my hair and rubbing it on my shirts. That means we end up doing a lot of laundry. I say we because I help out. I move items from my hamper to the floor, I lift the detergent bottle (which always gets grabbed from my hands right away) and then hang out and watch to make sure there are enough suds. The clothes always look like they are having so much fun flopping around in there. One time I tried to climb in, but mommy is a party pooper and made me get out.

I want to jump in and spin around too.

Ballerina to be

I got to stay up late and watch So You Think You Can Dance last night. I love watching dancers. They are so pretty and it looks so fun and I love the costumes. I get mesmerized and sometimes start to imagine myself on stage dancing. I can't wait to be old enough to take dance lessons. Then I'll get new dancing shoes too. Those tap ones look super fun.

Selfie Sunday 41

Lots of S's on this Selfie Sunday. I went swinging, stood on my own, sipped from a straw, spent time strolling with Papa Bob, Skyped with Nana and Aunt Heidi, and of course, there's always lots of smiling. I could of had one more, swimming, but I was sleeping and missed it. :)

Wheeeeeeeee!

Hudson revisited

Remember Hudson, the boy who I had my first date with? Well, I ran into him at the park today. He has gotten so big. He's practically running these days and he gave me a ride all over the playground in his cart. We went down the slide together. We even shared a water bottle. This is why I like an older man. They know how to treat a little lady. Sadly, Hudson is moving with his family to New York next week. We may never see each other again. It's sad to think about that. I know I'll never forget him, my first friend.

Thanks for the lift, Hudson!
This went better than our first date.
Sliding is more fun with Hudson by my side.

Tattletale teachers

My teachers tattled on me. They told mommy and daddy that I pushed my friends out of the way today and that "I need to be nice!" Can you believe that? I'm always nice. Soooo yes, maybe I pushed a friend today, but it wasn't hard and it was just because I was trying to get something and she was in the way. I asked the friend to move and she just stood there. How many times was I suppose to ask? Geesh. I think I need some less sensitive friends.

Fancy feet

Guess who got her first real pair of sneakers today? You'll never guess. Go ahead, guess. ME!!!

I'll take these...I'll take them all.

Look who's walking*

Check out my new trick! I've been thinking about walking and decided to just do it today. I did so many laps around the room that by the time mommy took a video I was pretty tired. Will you fly up and go shoe shopping with me now, Nana?

There will be blood

I had another doctor check up today. I'm still super, super tall. Two and a half feet (30 inches) tall to be exact. That puts me in the 97th percentile. I weigh 23 pounds 14 ounces, which is the 95th percentile.

I didn't get any shots today but I did have my first blood draw. I was really curious about it at first. There was a big blue chair with these fun armrests that I liked putting up and down. Then the blood taker lady tied this tight blue band thing around my arm. It was kind of like a bracelet, but I think I needed the next size because it was really tight. Where things went bad was when I got pricked by a needle, twice! Mommy said it happened twice because the blood taker lady missed my little vein (the thing that holds the blood) the first time. It hurt a lot at first, but once it was over I guess it wasn't so bad. And I got two stickers. :)

Always brush your teeth with toothpaste before bed. The more you know ...

Selfie Sunday 39

I'm finally starting to like swim class. Today I giggled, I dunked, I glided, I kicked my feet. It was great! Too bad there is only one class left.

Guess what? I figured out how to take a few steps when holding on to Yellow Magic. He moves a lot, which is different from the other things I hold on to when I take steps. I fell once, but I'm OK.

I have a hat like mommy.

Daddy wears hats too.
It's a Hutter thing.

Holla for challah!

Mommy and me went to a challah party today. We listened to a story about how to make challah, danced (a.k.a. bopped on my butt) to songs and then watched as the leader mixed the batter. Then we got to braid and decorate our challah. I dropped some of our dough on the floor so our challah is a little small, but I still decorated the rest with cinnamon and chocolate chips. We haven't baked it yet, so I don't know how it tastes, but I think it is going to be really, really yummy. The best part. I got to dress up like a chef!

Who is ready to bake?
Let's roll some challah!

Fresh meat

There is a new boy at daycare. His name is Layne. He's not much of a conversationalist or even a babblealiat. I definitely prefer myself an older man who challenges me. Maybe I'll meet someone on Friday when mommy and me go to a challah making class. A nice Jewish boy even. :)  I just hope the bruises on my forehead from banging into things go away. If not I may have to borrow mommy's makeup.

Poopnado

I've been pooping up a storm these last few days. Today it was a full on poopnado! So much poop came out of me it was crazy! One time when mommy went to pick me up, a bunch of poop that started coming out the top of my diaper got all over her hand. Daddy and me just laughed and laughed. He he he.
