Up up and away

Yesterday we went to the New England Air Museum in Connecticut. I got to go in a cockpit and I saw SO many different types of planes and things that fly. Did you know people used to fly in baskets with big balloons tied to them? I want to try that one day. Nana and Poppy came to the museum too. Nana seemed to have fun eventhough she doesn't like planes. Later we met Aunt Heidi, Uncle Justin and Mya and Lauren for lunch. I have so much fun with everyone. I'm sad I don't get to see them more often.

Daddy loves me and he loves planes.
Maybe I'll be a pilot. I just have to get
big enough to reach the controls.

Tooth talk

It's official. I have two teeth. They are both on the bottom and right next to each other. It's like they are friends just like me and Leah. I overheard daddy talking today about this person called the tooth fairy. Have you heard about her? She comes and takes teeth away!! That's just scary and horrible. Apparently she was just in DC visiting my cousin Sydney and now Sydney has this funny space in her mouth. I hope the tooth fairy never ever ever EVER visits me.

Puzzling Passover

I learned about a new holiday yesterday called Passover. There is a long story behind it that I don’t fully remember. From what I saw at our house, Passover involves reading from these small books, drinking lots of wine, singing songs and eating A LOT! Then for some reason, you repeat it again the next night. Maybe there is going to be a third night tomorrow. Or even a fourth night. Who knows? One other thing I’m confused about are these things called plagues. What are they and why does mommy keep trying to dress me up like one? And why is everyone talking about four questions when I only have these three? This holiday sure is complicated.

Wine and plagues. What could be better?
Hail is my favorite plague. Wait. What's hail again?
I thought food goes on the
sedar plate, not me.
Is there something on my head?
I definitely feel something.
I don't want these crackers,
I want my wine back!
Happy Passover everyone!

Selfie Sunday 22

I really need to be better at time management. These days just keep getting away before I have time to type up my thoughts. Between playing, eating, spitting up, napping, playing, spitting up, eating, spitting up, playing--the day goes by too quickly. So much has been happening. I keep trying all these new foods, although a lot more ends up on my face and clothes than in my mouth. I got another tooth. Daddy, will you stop calling me a hillbilly now? Nana and Poppy came to visit and we went to the park and I went on a swing for the first time. Daddy pushed me sooooo high that I started giggling uncontrollably. And, I even helped mommy get ready for Passover today. Gnawing on a haggadah and breaking matzo and getting crumbs everywhere is helping right? I'm exhausted!

I'm ready for a haircut or a meal...or to spit up.

Buds and Shiners

I'm still not sleeping well, but I think we figured out the reason. I have two teeth coming in. One broke through yesterday and another started this morning. How cool is that?

Oh, I also got something called a shiner yesterday. One minute I was sitting playing with my toys, the next my face smacked into the side of my toy bucket. Hopefully Jack won't think I'm hideous.

My first tooth. Can you see it?

Sleep saga

I haven't been sleeping well lately, at least that is what mommy and daddy tell me. They say I make a lot of noises in the middle of the night. They come to check on me and my eyes are closed, but I'm making these weird sounds and moving my feet so they put a pacifier in my mouth, which calms me down. From what they tell me, this cycle of me making noises, getting a pacifier, making more noises, getting a pacifier has happened a lot these last few nights. I don't remember a thing. All I know is sometimes I wake up for a split second and I'm in the rocking chair with mommy or sleeping on daddy's chest on the couch. It's all fine by me, although mommy and daddy sure do look really tired.

Selfie Sunday 21

Us Hutters sure do like to travel. This weekend we went to Portsmouth, New Hampshire and then crossed the border into Maine. It is fun going all these places, although I much prefer my own crib.

Daddy and me snuggling at the hotel.
We saw tug boats and a giant lobster.
